"I feel ASTD is a positive
membership for professional
trainers--and is a good 'resume
builder'. "

"This chapter has matured over the
years and become stronger and
more professional.  The leadership
does a very good job in identifying
and securing excellent experts in
our field.  Bravo to those who make
it happen!"
Join us in September for our first ever “Speed Networking” event.  Not to worry, it is not actually
speed dating, rather it will be “Speed Networking.” This is not an event for vendors to peddle their
wares, nor is it a job fair.  It is a way for all of us to connect or re-connect with each other and to
share best practices in common areas of work/interest.

We will be meeting at Gonzaga University in the Washington California room on the 2nd floor in
the COG from 11:45am to 1:30pm for some light refreshments (bring a sack lunch if you like) and
a lot of good information and conversation. $5 at the door for members - $10 for non members.
Please park in the East lot adjacent to Hamilton (the lot closest to David’s Pizza).

In July, we were proud to present
Kristoffer Kristensen, from the Emerge Leadership Group in
Boise, ID, who presented "Maximizing Employee Contribution: Understanding the Critical Missing
Link to Employee Engagement."  We would like to invite you to follow Kris for some lively
discussion and learning on our new blog.
